Did you know? Between 2015 and 2017, 42% of national government agencies in the Tohoku region discarded all of their disaster relief food supplies.

(According to a survey by the Tohoku Regional Administrative Evaluation Bureau, Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, 2019)
  • *This survey targeted 69 national government agencies in the six prefectures of the Tohoku region.

Efforts to reduce waste are being made all over Japan. Is there anything we can do too?
I thought about it seriously.

Based on Rohto Pharmaceutical's vision and these customer voices

A new type of recyclable, hard-food emergency food has been created.

Even in "what if" scenarios
Perfect for everyday use

  • Reduces the cost and space required for cooking water and dishes.

To rehydrate dried rice or noodles, you need about 200ml of water or hot water per serving. Five servings would require approximately 1L = 1kg, so you'll need to factor in the cost and storage space for that separately.

  • Reduce waste after eating

Since no water or dishes are needed, there's minimal waste after eating. After finishing, simply place the film back into the bag and roll it up for compact storage.

  • Also for hygiene measures such as odor control.

In case of an emergency, hygiene is crucial. If liquid remains in the container after eating, it can cause odors and bacteria to grow. Preventing leftover liquid from being released is also a hygienic measure.
