Lens design that feels comfortable for your eyes every day.
The lens edge, designed for ultimate comfort, features Rohto's original SWOT® design.
S eagull W ing O ptimized T ecnology
Modeled after a seagull's wing, the tip of the contact lens is raised to improve lens movement and promote tear exchange.
Edge design for smooth tear fluid exchange
In addition to improving wearing comfort, it also facilitates tear fluid exchange and reduces dryness.
Formulated with moisturizing ingredients for a more comfortable day.
Rohto 1day FreshView® Rich Moist contact lenses contain two moisturizing ingredients, PMPC and PEG, in their storage solution.
PMPC
Poly (m ethacryloyloxyethyl p hosphoryl c holine)
PMPC is a polymer similar to lecithin, a major component of cell membranes. It is widely distributed on the surface of lenses.
Two features of PMPC
-
- Excellent moisturizing power
- It has approximately twice the water-retention capacity of hyaluronic acid.
-
-
- Preventing protein adhesion
- Its moisturizing effect blocks protein-based stains.
-
PEG
Polyethylene glycol
PEG is used in our products as an ingredient that provides moisture to the surface and has excellent biocompatibility.
UV protection function that effectively blocks ultraviolet rays
Ultraviolet rays damage not only the skin but also the eyes.
Formulated with UV absorbers, it blocks over 95% of UV-B rays and over 50% of UV-A rays.
*Contact lenses containing UV absorbers are not a substitute for UV-absorbing sunglasses.
Lens shape for easy handling
The lens shape strikes a balance between comfortable wearability thanks to its moderate softness and ease of handling, achieved by adding thickness to the peripheral area.
Clean, daily disposable type.
Because these are daily disposable contact lenses that you replace with a fresh pair every day, they are always clean and comfortable to use.
High-moisture content material with a moisture content of 58%
The eyes receive essential oxygen.
Even when wearing Rohto 1day FreshView Rich Moist contact lenses, the oxygen permeability *1 Dk/t value is 25 and the oxygen flow rate *2 is 88%, ensuring that essential oxygen reaches the eyes.
*1: Unit of Dk/t value = × 10⁻⁹ (cm/sec)・(mLO₂ /mL × mmHg) (for -3.00D)
*2: Oxygen flow rate = Amount of oxygen reaching the cornea when wearing contact lenses / Amount of oxygen reaching the cornea when not wearing contact lenses
