Check the cause in detail
Cause 1: Inflammation of the scalp
There are various factors that can cause scalp inflammation.
The scalp has many pores and produces a lot of sebum and sweat, making it prone to inflammation.
Main causes of inflammation
- Incorrect shampooing techniques, UV rays, dryness
- Skin irritation caused by hair dye or sweat
- Overwork and stress, etc.
Cause 2: “Causative bacteria” lurking on the scalp
Resident bacteria such as Malassezia that reside on the scalp are also one of the causes of dandruff and itchiness.
These bacteria are always present on human skin, multiplying by feeding on sebum and other substances, and irritating the skin by breaking down lipids.
Cause #3 : Dry scalp
"I'm worried about dandruff, so I shampoo thoroughly" might be counterproductive.
This can strip the scalp of essential oils, potentially leading to dryness.
