Before use

  1. STEP 1Remove the applicator.

    Open the package by the arrow on the opening, and remove the item by holding the holder part (the part with the serrated edges).
    (Please do not pull the push bar.)

  2. STEP 2Remove the stopper.

    Push the stopper in the direction of the arrow and slowly remove it.

How to use

  1. STEP 1Hold the applicator correctly.

    After removing the stopper, firmly hold the holder part (the jagged part) with your thumb and middle finger, and place your index finger in the groove on the push rod.
    Please use the device without changing your grip until insertion is complete.

    ※
    Do not change how you hold the applicator while using it, as this may prevent smooth insertion.

  2. STEP 2Correct your posture

    Relax your body and release any tension. A good position is to bend one knee, as shown in the left diagram.

  3. STEP 3Confirm the correct position of the vagina

    With one hand, open the urethral opening, and with the other hand, place the rounded tip of the outer tube against the vaginal opening.

  4. STEP 4Insert the outer tube into the vagina.

    Relax while exhaling and slowly insert it diagonally upwards.
    Stop when the fingers holding the holder touch the vaginal opening.

  5. STEP 5Press the push bar to dispense the tablet.

    Hold the holder firmly with your fingers, and push the plunger all the way down with the pad of your index finger until it stops. The tablet will then be placed in the correct position.

  6. STEP 6Remove the applicator.

    After inserting the tablet, slowly remove the applicator. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap after insertion.

    Applicators cannot be reused after a single use. Please discard them.

Treatment is completed with a single dose, but it will not heal in one day. Please follow the lifestyle precautions for 6 days after use. This product is effective with a single dose, so do not administer this medication or other vaginal suppositories in addition.

Target audience
Patients with recurrent vaginal candidiasis aged 20-48
(Individuals who have previously been diagnosed with and treated for vaginal candidiasis by a physician) 54 cases
Test method

The convenience and safety of inserting Mentholatum®​ ​Freddy® CC vaginal tablets using an applicator were compared with manual insertion using a crossover study method.
Specifically, the subjects were divided into the two groups shown on the right, Mentholatum®​ ​Freddy® CC vaginal suppositories were inserted, and a questionnaire survey was conducted regarding their experience with the product. In addition, a medical interview and internal examination were conducted to check for any vaginal injuries or adverse events.

[Group 1] First 3 days: Applicator used, last 3 days: Insertion by finger. [Group 2] First 3 days: Insertion by finger, last 3 days: Applicator used.
