About the app

About the app

AImirun is an application developed in collaboration with ophthalmologists, aiming to provide an opportunity to quickly notice any changes in vision by performing regular vision tests.

Features

Two patterns of vision testing

Two patterns of vision testing

Using the Landolt ring (C mark), commonly used in vision testing, this device measures two types of vision: distance vision (3m vision) and near vision (40cm). Voice input and touch input are available.

Explanation display tailored to the measurement results

After the measurement, the results for each eye are provided along with an easy-to-understand explanation.
*The maximum visual acuity for this app is 1.0.

Individual measurement & record saving

Individual measurement & record saving Individual measurement & record saving

You can record information for multiple people individually, such as family members.
Furthermore, the system displays graphs showing the progression of visual acuity separately for each eye, and for both uncorrected and corrected vision, making it easy to check changes in vision over time and differences between the left and right eyes.

How to use it

Please use this as a pre-check before going to the ophthalmologist.

For parents who are concerned about their child's vision.
"I feel like my child has been squinting while watching TV lately. I wonder if they're having trouble seeing..."
"It's been a while since I got my child's glasses made, but I wonder if the prescription is still correct..."
For those who are concerned about how they see
"I feel like I've been having trouble seeing the letters up close lately."
"My glasses prescription might be getting worse?"
"I haven't had my eyesight checked in a very long time."

Note

This app is not for diagnostic purposes.

Note

Regular eye examinations are important for the early detection and treatment of eye diseases.
If you have any concerns about your eyes, consult an ophthalmologist.

  • This app allows you to take measurements by yourself using voice input, but it will be smoother if you have someone to assist you.
  • We recommend taking the measurement in a well-lit area indoors.
  • Since this is intended for home use, the measurement results are only an estimate. If you want to have your vision checked accurately, please consult an ophthalmologist.
