Hyaluronic acid (a moisturizing ingredient), a key ingredient in Hada ^Labo®, is a well-known ingredient in the field of eye care, which Rohto Pharmaceutical has been researching for a long time.
It is not only found in large quantities in the eyes, but also present in the dermis and joints, and is essential for survival.
It has the ability to hold up to 6 liters of water per gram, and is also characterized by its ease of absorption into the skin.
We use carefully selected hyaluronic acid in a comfortable and generous way.

We apply manufacturing process technologies that minimize human intervention as much as possible to Hada Labo® ^products.

By leveraging the semi-automated manufacturing technology cultivated in eye drop production to increase manufacturing efficiency, and by standardizing container specifications for products sold worldwide, Hada ^Labo® has achieved its ideal "price" through these unique innovations.

In 2005, the year after "Hada ^Labo®" was launched, we released a refillable version.

We wanted to eliminate as much waste as possible from everything except the contents, for the sake of both the user and the planet.

Starting in 2019, we will gradually transition to biomass containers that partially utilize plant-derived raw materials, which are also sustainable resources.

Our commitment to the environment has been, and will continue to be, our priority.
