About Mentholatum Acnes Acne Treatment
"Mentholatum Acnes Acne Treatment" is a cream-type medicine that contains four active ingredients that effectively treat red and painful acne.
Sulfur, a keratin softening and sebum absorbing ingredient, softens the keratin, opening up the heads of acne and exerting a degreasing effect. It absorbs sebum (acne core) and dirt clogged in pores, and its antibacterial properties help heal acne. Additionally, the antibacterial active ingredient resorcinol kills acne-causing bacteria, actively healing acne. The anti-inflammatory ingredient glycyrrhetinic acid suppresses inflammation and reduces swelling and redness of acne. Furthermore, tocopherol acetate (a vitamin E derivative) promotes blood circulation, helping the affected area heal.
This cream spreads easily and is barely noticeable on the skin. It has the same weak acidity as healthy skin.
